ACCESS

TO ROADMENDER

We strive to make all our shows accessible to everyone and we follow Attitude Is Everything and Nimbus Disability to make sure things keep improving. There are some challenges, but together we can identify issues and come up with practical solutions. Your feedback is always welcome and we’ll do our best to be as flexible as possible to meet your needs.

Please note that we do not have “accessible seating”, however, we will do our best to accommodate as practicably as possible.

Companion / Carer Ticket

This venue offers one free Carer/Companion ticket.

Elligibility

Spaces are limited and will be given on a first come first served basis and you must book directly through the venues website to ensure eligibility.

Proof of disability will be required on each booking. One of the accepted forms of proof will be the Access Card. For more information on this card and details how to obtain one please go to www.credability.uk.com/access-card/ The Access Card informs providers quickly and discreetly about the support and facilities a person may require when attending the venue.

To be eligible for a Companion/Carer ticket you must be in receipt of one of the below:

  • Disability Living Allowance/Personal Independence Payment

Blue Badges cannot be accepted for anything other than their intended purpose, which is the allocation of accessible parking. There are many reasons a person may be entitled to a Blue Badge, but these do not translate well into the provision of a variety of reasonable adjustments to shows. As such we are unable to accept Blue Badges or similar forms of evidence including travel passes, CEA cards etc.

The role of an essential Companion

By accepting the free ticket, a Companion accepts responsibility for providing the support needed by the access customer to attend an event. This includes being able to provide them with additional assistance during the course of an emergency evacuation.

The staff at the event are unable to provide assistance in excess of their typical role and general reasonable adjustments so it’s important that, if a customer needs assistance while at the venue, their Companion is ready and willing to support you with this.
